Causes
- The paint deteriorates with age.
- Surface preparation was not done properly or anti- rust primer was not used.
Solution
Step 1
Surface preparation
- Scrub off the old paint and rust. Clean the substrate with thinner. Scrub off the rust with a wire brush or electric polisher.
- The surface must be completely clean and dry without any dust or rust before painting.
