SUSTAINABILITY THROUGH INCLUSIVE BUSINESS
The AYDA Awards, previously known as the Asia Young Designer Awards, first began their journey in 2008. It was a truly pivotal initiative, born from Nippon Paint’s visionary commitment to cultivating the next generation of design talent.
Since its early days, AYDA has experienced truly remarkable growth, expanding significantly in both its reach and its stature. It has, without
a doubt, firmly established itself as one of Asia’s pre-eminent design awards, demonstrating a profound and lasting impact on the design education landscape. To date, we’ve been thrilled to receive an impressive volume of participation, with over 67,000 entries pouring in from more than 1,600 tertiary education institutions across 20 geographical locations globally.
Every year, AYDA presents yet another opportunity for young design talents to push their design boundaries further beyond the norm.
Through the various experiential learnings and once-in-a-lifetime opportunities, AYDA has established a close-knit design community comprising professional architects, interior designers, industry associations, partners, design schools, alumni and design students.
