Shake the spray can for 2 minutes to mix the paint well or until you hear a consistent sound of the metal ball in the can.

How to use

  • Choose the colour from the catalog to get the exact shade you want.
  • For steel surfaces, anti-rusting primer #130 should be sprayed as the first layer, followed by primer and top coat as usual.
  • After shaking the can, try spraying the paint on other materials first to familiarize yourself with the distance and spray speed.
  • The spray distance should be about 10-20 cm from the surface.
  • Spray by scattering the first thin layer over the whole area. Wait until the paint dries for about 5-10 minutes, then spray the next layer.
  • Spray the next layer until the suraface is covered. Be careful and try not to spray the paint too thick as the paint will become greasy.
  • After spraying, the nozzle should be cleaned to prevent clogging by turning the can upside down and spraying out a little air.

Precautions

  • Avoid spraying the paint on humid days so that the paint adheres to the material well and fully dries.
  • The paint should be sprayed in a shaded, not windy area to prevent dust from flying onto the surface while the paint is not yet dry.
  • The relative humidity in the air should be no more than 85%.
  • Avoid sparks, welding, and smoking during coating.

We recommend Nippon Paint Tile Primer as a primer for tile painting.

For interior

  • Apply Nippon Paint Tile Primer to increase adhesion to the shiny tile wall.
  • For floor work, cover with the water-based Nippon Paint Aqua Epoxy.
  • For wall work, apply Aqua Epoxy and water-based paint. For interior, use Nippon Paint Air Care, Nippon Paint Momento Loft, or other topcoats as desired.

Remark** Apply onto a dry surface only.

For exterior

  • Apply Nippon Paint Tile Primer as a primer to increase adhesion to the shiny tile wall.
  • For floor work, cover with HI-PON 50-01 PUR Topcoat.
  • For wall work, apply Nippon Paint Weatherbond or other exterior topcoats as desired.

Almost all paint systems, water-based, solvent-based, polyurethane or spray paints, need to be primed first to increase the adhesion of the topcoat to the surface or to prevent paint problems from the surface that may occur later. Choosing the right primer for the surface will help to prolong the lifespan of the paint even longer.
